🏡【First Impressions】Driving from Hangzhou, we followed the GPS straight to the foot of Tianmu Mountain. The homestay looks even more distinctive than in the photos—it's truly a landmark in the area. ✨After checking in, the first thing I noticed was the quiet. Only the wind and birdsong from outside, and the soundproofing is excellent—I slept deeply all night. 🌟The mattress is just right—not too hard, not too soft—and the pillows are comfy. I slept like a log until morning. 🏨The 4.5 rating on Ctrip is well-deserved. Before coming, I read many guest reviews, all mentioning the elegant environment, great breakfast, and wonderful afternoon tea. After staying here, I can confirm it's all true. 🛏️The homestay has a themed design, and the common areas are tastefully decorated—great for photos. 🌸The front desk girl was friendly and efficient, and she even helped carry our luggage to the room. 🍃The room amenities look new, the bathroom is dry and odor-free, hot water comes quickly, and the shower is refreshing. ☀️Overall, the first impression is excellent—it's the kind of place where you can truly unwind.

🌿【Core Experience】The biggest selling point of this homestay is its environment and atmosphere. 📸Perched on a hillside, the views are expansive—from the room, you see layers of green mountains and smell the fresh scent of plants. 🧳Sitting on the balcony during the day, sipping tea, surrounded by greenery, everything slows down. 🗺️The afternoon tea is the signature offering. Most guests rave about it, and after trying it myself, I can say it lives up to the hype. The desserts are delicate, and the tea is fragrant and refreshing. 💫There's also a large terrace where you can sit in the evening, feel the breeze, and watch the sunset paint the sky orange—absolutely delightful. 🌈At night, the courtyard lights come on, creating a completely different, cozy and warm atmosphere. 🏞️The room design is thoughtful, not the typical hotel style, but incorporating wooden elements and handcrafted items, making it feel very warm and personal. ✨This is an experience you won't get at a regular hotel, and it's why I'd recommend it to friends.

🚗【Getting There】The homestay is near Tianmu Mountain Scenic Area, and the best way to get there is by car. 🏨From downtown Hangzhou, it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours via highway, with good road conditions all the way. Just search for "Tianmushan Zhiliao Homestay" on your GPS and you'll arrive. 🛏️There's free parking right at the entrance, which is very convenient for self-drive guests. 🌸If you don't drive, you can take the high-speed train to Hangzhou East Station and then take a taxi—about 1.5 hours and around 200 yuan. 🍃However, I recommend driving because the attractions around the homestay are scattered, and having a car makes things much easier. ☀️The homestay is not near a subway line. The closest station is Jiuzhou Street on Line 16, about 30 km away, a 40-minute taxi ride. Public transport isn't very convenient. 🌙If you're flying, Xiaoshan Airport is about a 2-hour drive. 📸In short, driving is the most hassle-free option.

🛍️【Nearby Shopping】There are no large malls or supermarkets around the homestay, as it's in the mountains, all about nature and tranquility. 🗺️However, a 20-minute drive takes you to Yuqian Town, where you'll find small supermarkets and convenience stores for daily necessities and snacks. 💫For bigger malls, drive to Lin'an city proper, where you'll find Wanhua Plaza and Baolong Plaza, about 40 minutes away. 🌈Wanhua Plaza has common clothing brands and a cinema, while Baolong Plaza offers more dining options and a Yonghui supermarket, where you can stock up on snacks and fruits to bring back. 🏞️Both malls have underground parking at low rates—usually free for the first 3 hours, then about 5 yuan per hour after that. ✨If you're driving, it's wise to buy everything you need in the city, as shopping in the mountains is limited. 🌟But the homestay's own food is great, so you might not need to hoard snacks. 🏨

🍜【Local Food】Breakfast is included in the room rate, and guests often praise it. I found it indeed good—congee, eggs, steamed buns, side dishes, and freshly cooked noodles, all light and satisfying. 🛏️The afternoon tea is worth trying too, with desserts and drinks made to order. 🌸If you want to eat out, drive to Yuqian Town for local farmhouse restaurants serving Tianmu Mountain specialties like dried bamboo shoot braised pork, chicken stew, and stir-fried wild greens. Prices are around 60-70 yuan per person, and the flavors are authentic. 🍃Lin'an city has more options. One restaurant called "Lin'an Renjia" serves local dishes, with signature dishes like soy-sauce duck and braised mixed fish. It costs about 100 yuan per person and is very popular, so it's best to book ahead. ☀️Another is "Old Neighbor Farmhouse Kitchen," which is affordable and generous with portions—two people can't finish three dishes. 🌙If you prefer something light, the homestay's own restaurant is also good. You can order in advance with the housekeeper, and ingredients are sourced fresh from the foothills daily. 📸

🛏️【Rooms & Amenities】The homestay has few rooms, so it's very quiet, without the hustle and bustle of guests coming and going. 🧳I stayed in a double room of about 30 square meters, spacious and bright—no need for lights during the day. 🗺️The room comes with tea sets and leaves, so you can brew tea by the window while enjoying the mountain view—so relaxing. 💫The bedding is cotton-linen, breathable and comfortable for a good night's sleep. 🌈The bathroom has an electric water heater, providing stable hot water and good water pressure for a satisfying shower. 🏞️The common areas include a reading nook and a tea room. The reading nook has books to borrow, and the tea room allows you to brew your own tea. ✨There's no pool or gym, but there's a small courtyard for a stroll. Breakfast is a set meal, one per person, with refills available. Check-out is at noon, so if you have no plans the next day, you can sleep in. Parking is free, which is handy for self-drive guests.

🎒【Activities & Tips】The homestay is about a 10-minute drive from the Tianmu Mountain Scenic Area entrance. Tickets are 120 yuan per person, and the area includes attractions like the Big Tree King and Chanyuan Temple. Hiking takes about half a day. 🧳If you prefer not to hike, there's also Tianmu Grand Canyon nearby, with tickets at 80 yuan—cool and pleasant in summer. 🌟There are also ancient villages like Zhinan Village, which is free to enter and offers beautiful red leaves in autumn. 🌙A reminder: the temperature difference between morning and evening in the mountains is significant. Even in summer, bring a light jacket for the evening. Mosquitoes are also common. The room is equipped with electric mosquito repellent, but it's a good idea to spray some repellent before heading out for a walk. The homestay accepts foreign guests with passports, but it's best to confirm in advance. During peak seasons like May Day, National Day, and weekends, rooms are tight, so book 1-2 weeks ahead. If you're bringing elderly or children, note that there are many slopes—wear comfortable shoes.
